The Dinner Fairy Philosophy
Eating dinner should be a joy!  A time to relax and unwind from your busy day.  A time to catch up with
your family, talk about your day and enjoy good company.  Then why is it, so often meal time is such a
hassle or worse, a trauma.  Do you cringe when you hear the question, "What's for dinner?"  Did you
remember to get the lettuce on the way home today?  Do you have time to prepare dinner between
helping the kids with their homework, doing the laundry, and driving to soccer practice?  Or did you
have time to plan your meals between working full time, picking up the dry cleaning, and walking the
dog.  Often times we end up in either the chicken nuggets and frozen pizza rut; eating whatever we
can find ready to heat from the Mega Mart; or spending too much time and money going out to
restaurants.  Once in a while everyone can use a box of  Chinese take out, delivery pizza, or even a
bag from the Quicky Burger; but when the pizza barn is on your speed dial and the guy at the
drive-thru window knows you by name chances are that this sort of eating is damaging to your body,
hard on your wallet, and bad news for family time too. The sit down dinner of home cooked food is a
fading tradition of the busy American lifestyle and that is why The Dinner Fairy Personal Chef was
created.

The Dinner Fairy can magically give you back that relaxing time to sit down, relax, and enjoy a home
cooked dinner with your family no matter if that means mom, dad, and three kids, or just you and
Fido.  The Dinner Fairy will do all the meal planning, shopping, cooking, packaging and storing of
your week's dinners, and just like magic, your kitchen will be as clean as you left it.  Suddenly dinner
is ready when you are and you didn't have to spend the 10 or more hours a week making it.
Who is the Dinner Fairy?
The Dinner Fairy is Janet Senger, a wife and mother of two who firmly believes in the importance of
a family sitting down together to eat dinner.  "I have always loved cooking, since I was a little girl I
would look for reasons to cook.  When I got bored, I would go into the kitchen and start rummaging
through the cupboards looking for inspiration for a dish.  As a wife and mother I still love to cook for
my family but found that balancing all the time commitments to be a real challenge."

This dilemma led Janet, AKA the Dinner
Fairy, to start preparing all her family's
dinners in advance and packaging them
so they could be reheated later as needed.
"I loved this method of cooking because
my family still gets healthy, home-made
food prepared the way they like it, and I
have all the time I need get everything
done and enjoy my evening with the family.
Now when the kids ask 'Mom, what's for
dinner tonight?'  I simply reply, 'let me see
what the Dinner Fairy put in the
refrigerator."

Out of this personal solution was born the
idea for the Dinner Fairy Personal Chef
Service.  Now the Dinner Fairy can come
into your home and work her magic on
your family too.  "I realized that if this was
such a blessing to my family, there were
probably many other households who the
Dinner Fairy could help."
